Oriental Copper is working tirelessly to reduce and limit the impact of rising external costs, especially energy, which account for a significant part of our overall production costs.

Despite continuous improvement activities and numerous productivity initiatives, Oriental Copper still faces huge cost increases which have forced us to announce a general 5% increase to our current fabrication price across all business areas, effective 01^st June 2013, or in line with the expiration date of annual price contracts.
